TSUNAMI WARNING: The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has issued a tsunami warning for the Pacific coastline of Alaska, western Canada and the northwest U.S. mainland, after a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck the Queen Charlotte Islands area just off the coast of British Columbia on Saturday night. Tsunami waves could reach the northern coastline in Washington state as early as midnight Central Time.
