Asteroid 2012 LZ1 that passed by Earth June 14 was twice the size than previously thought

Asteroid 2012 LZ1 that passed by Earth last week is actually twice as large as scientists originally thought, new radar images revealed.

It came within 5.3 million kilometers (3.3 million miles) of Earth at its closest approach on June 14. Since that distance is roughly 14 times the distance between Earth and the moon, the oblong-shaped asteroid never posed a threat of colliding with our planet.

Initially, 2012 LZ1 was thought to be about the size of a city block, but based on its brightness as it cruised by the planet, scientists now say the asteroid’s true size is twice that, measuring about 1 km (0.6 miles ) across at its widest part.

Such a massive object would likely have serious global consequences if it hit Earth, the researchers said. But the radar measurements showed that the object does not have any chance of hitting Earth for at least the next 750 years, they added.

“The sensitivity of our radar has permitted us to measure this asteroid’s properties and determine that it will not impact the Earth at least in the next 750 years,” said Mike Nolan, director of planetary radar sciences at the Arecibo Observatory.

Scientists at the Arecibo Observatory observed the asteroid on June 19 to map its orbit more precisely, and to determine its size, rotation rate and shape.

The newfound asteroid was first seen on June 10 at the Siding Spring Observatory in Australia. Since the near-Earth object was detected less than a week before it flew past the planet, astronomers only had rough calculations of the asteroid’s measurements at the time.

Earth is expected to be visited on February 14-15, 2013, by AD14, which is estimated to be the size of a football field and to be coming within 3000 miles of Earth.  Any miscalculations on this orb could spell disaster and create a swath of destruction matched by the asteroid hit in the late 1800's in Serbia, which burned and laid bare thousands of miles of acres.

Asteroids entering into our galaxy with Nibiru in its tail pose an even greater threat because of the speed and the sheer number of asteroid hits expected.  The government hasn't reported this to the American public, but inside and credible sources report that the government has ordered a "bug out" notice that will be given between now and August 17th, when this red dwarf will be on its closest orbit to the earth through September 26, 2012.

Because Nibiru is four times the size of Jupiter, its effects on the planet are unknown, but historical relics from countries over the earth point to a devastating event.  Many point to the fact that no "modern civilization" has ever survived the event.  Those who are able to find refuge in caves have been able to survive and leave messages to future generations in the form of heiroglyphics and cuneiform writing.  Nibiru makes its orbital journey every 3600 years.

IN addition to these dangers, the Earth is approaching the galactic belt of the galaxy where all manner of asteroids orbit and in the galactic phenomenon of gamma rays 700 million the strength of the sun are expected.

Perhaps we could attribute the complete insanity that has taken over the planet, with the complete destruction of countries' financial structures, owned by elite globalists and the New World Order, grabbing all the wealth and precious metals they can to store in their underground bunkers...for them and not for the common man.  The common man is left without information, without the ability to prepare, without the respect due him so that he is able to prepare and get his house in order.  The common man is not able to even prepare his family to make decisions that are best for them, in light of these potentially life-ending events.

It is incomprehensible that men could do this to other men, but then, there is no surprise.  The Powers that be may not be men at all, but lizards who represent the most evil form of life.
